Dr. Eagleman's studies show how the brain neurons play an important role in our life and minds, they affect the way we think and act. In another video I saw on YouTube "David Eagleman - the brain and the law" it talked about how a physical change in our brains can affect the way we think and act, and though he said it was still a theory on study, base on their facts he showed I believe this is true, for example, Charles Whitman a man with a good background history, killed 14 pedestrians on a regular day including his wife and mother, but before this he had revealed in a note that he felt like something was changing in his mind but he didn't know what, so he asked for an autopsy on his brain after his dead, and so they did after being killed by some cops, they discovered a tumor on a part of his Brain which controlled the mind's fear and aggression. So according to Dr. Eagleman's study and others, this is was caused Whitman's behavior. This shows how sometimes we can't control some of the things our brain does just like Dr. Eagleman said in this video, like if we had another person inside our he's heads controlling it like Colbert also said. Point given our brain neurons affect our minds with the way they transmit information ( neurotransmitters) to our brains which influence the way we act and behave, without us being able to control it sometimes and this is what Dr. Eagleman is trying to show here.
